Aldar Properties, results for the nine months to 30 September 2026, published 27 October 2026.
02Seven launches in one quarter
Aldar launched seven projects between July and September, taking its total for the year to 12. The quarter's launches were Al Ghadeer Gardens II, Al Ghadeer Parks, The Canopies, Sei Saadiyat, Talay, Talay Beach and Yas Riva Reserve.
Group development sales reached AED 18.9 billion in the nine months, including AED 6.8 billion in the third quarter. UAE sales accounted for AED 14.4 billion, against AED 26.5 billion a year earlier.
Overseas buyers and expatriates living in the UAE bought AED 11.3 billion of that, or 78% of Aldar's UAE sales.
03Homes handed over and money collected
Aldar handed over almost 2,000 homes in the first nine months, more than twice as many as in the whole of 2025. It collected AED 11.4 billion from buyers over the period, AED 3.9 billion of it in the third quarter.
Its UAE backlog of AED 59.3 billion has an average remaining life of 28 months, and about 89% of it has already been awarded to contractors. That backlog is homes already sold but not yet built, so it sets how much construction Aldar has ahead of it.
04A bigger pipeline
Aldar's pipeline now includes Marsa Al Saadiyat, with a gross development value of AED 60 billion, and Yas Point at AED 6 billion. In September it agreed a partnership with Arada covering AED 11 billion of development in Seih Al Sedeirah, on the Abu Dhabi–Dubai border, and land on Yas Island.
Abroad, sales at SODIC in Egypt rose 99% to AED 3.0 billion, and at London Square in the UK by 177% to AED 1.4 billion.
On the investment side, Aldar's rental and recurring-income business lifted adjusted EBITDA by 21% to AED 2.8 billion. In October it agreed the AED 1.1 billion forward purchase of more than 1,100 homes at Aljada in Sharjah, its first investment in that emirate.
05What it means for off-plan buyers
A steady flow of new launches. Seven launches in a quarter, and a pipeline that includes Marsa Al Saadiyat and Yas Point, mean more choice for buyers in Abu Dhabi over the coming months. Aldar has also said it plans to launch a large villa and townhouse community near Dubai Silicon Oasis before the end of the year, its fourth in Dubai (our story).
Delivery is moving. Nearly 2,000 handovers in nine months, and most of the UAE backlog already with contractors, show how much of Aldar's sold stock is now under construction. If you are buying, check the construction progress and handover date for your specific building.
Compare plans across launches. Payment plans, starting prices and handover dates differ widely between Aldar's projects, from apartments at Al Ghadeer to villas at Talay. Every payment should go to the project's escrow account registered with the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre.
