Who we are

OffPlan Insider ([Legal company name], trade licence [Trade licence number], [Office address], Dubai, United Arab Emirates) runs offplaninsider.com. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about it go to hello@offplaninsider.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, request a shortlist, ask about an offer or a unit, or use the contact form: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, the project, unit or offer you asked about, the options you chose, any message you write, and the page you sent it from.

When you sign up for research by email: your email address.

When you suggest a correction: your message and, if you give it, your email address.

When you browse: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location (country or city), and your device and browser type. If you decline, Google receives only cookieless signals with no identifier. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, time, page requested) to run and secure the site.

What we do not collect: we do not ask for payment details, identity documents or passwords on this website, and we do not run advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry: to check prices, availability and payment plans with the developer and send you the details.
To send research and market updates you signed up for, until you unsubscribe.
To correct our content when you tell us something has changed.
To understand, with your consent, which pages help buyers, so we can improve the site.
To keep the site secure and working.

We rely on your request (to answer it), your consent (email updates and analytics) and our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Who else sees it

The developer of the project you ask about, only when needed to answer your request, for example to check a unit or arrange a reservation. Developers pay us as their marketing partner; you pay no fee.
Service providers that process data for us: Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (image hosting), SendLayer (sending enquiry emails to our team) and Google (Analytics, only with your consent). They act on our instructions and may process data outside the UAE under their own safeguards.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and customer records: for as long as we are helping you and then for up to [24 months], unless the law requires longer. Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: 14 months, Google Analytics' shortest standard retention. Server logs: as kept by our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.

Cookies and similar storage

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, _ga and _ga_*): set only if you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser so we do not ask again.
Your saved units on Available units are stored in your browser only; they are never sent to us unless you send them in an enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it for email updates, or to send you a copy. Write to hello@offplaninsider.com from the address or phone number you used, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the UAE Data Office or, if you are in the EU, your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be shown on the site for a reasonable period.
