RAK Properties adds tashas, Hunter & Barrel and Antonia to Mina by December 2026

Three new restaurant and café openings at Mina Al Arab follow Bar Du Port Beach and Ladurée earlier this year, as RAK Properties fills in the everyday amenities around its Hayat Island homes.

RAK Properties has announced three new restaurant and café openings at Mina Al Arab, its waterfront master community in Ras Al Khaimah. All three are due to open by the end of 2026.

The openings follow Bar Du Port Beach and Ladurée, which opened at Mina earlier this year. The developer says the aim is a lived-in community with daily places to eat and meet, not only homes and resorts.

tashas will be the café brand's first branch in Ras Al Khaimah. Hunter & Barrel's interiors take their cue from Dhayah Fort, one of the emirate's best-known landmarks.

02Two resorts already open

Mina is already home to the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Resort and Spa, with 351 keys on Hayat Island, and the Anantara Mina Hotel & Resort, with 174 keys. Between them they run six restaurants and bars, from all-day dining to Levantine and Asian kitchens.

Sameh Muhtadi, Chief Executive Officer of RAK Properties, said the company picks concepts that add to the community's social life and strengthen Ras Al Khaimah as a place to live, visit and dine.

03Why it matters for buyers

Amenities arrive before most handovers. Several Mina projects are still being built, including Anantara Residences, Quattro Del Mar and Enta Mina. Restaurants, cafés and two working resorts already on the island mean owners move into a community that is open and running.

It supports the holiday-home case. Ras Al Khaimah buyers often plan to use or let their home as a short-stay rental. Known restaurant brands within walking distance make a stronger listing than an island still waiting for its first café.

Near-complete stock is worth a look. Cape Hayat, on the Hayat Island beach, is close to handover. If you want to use or rent your home soon, compare it with the longer-dated launches on the same island.
