Skylight Mall on Al Khail Road: 360 Stores, Opening 2027

Dubai Retail will open Skylight Mall, a new mall on Al Khail Road, in 2027. It will have 1.3 million sq ft of lettable space and more than 360 stores.

02Where it is

The mall sits on Al Khail Road, next to Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Jumeirah Islands and The Springs.

Dubai Retail describes it as a super-regional mall, meaning it is built to draw shoppers from across the city as well as from the communities around it.

03What is planned

Shops, dining, entertainment and everyday services under one roof.
A design built around large, open interiors. The released render shows a glass lattice roof over a planted atrium on three levels.

Tenant names have not been announced.

Skylight Mall will take Dubai Retail's portfolio to 58 malls and destinations. Its existing malls include Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart, Nad Al Sheba Mall and Palm Jumeirah Mall.

04Why it matters for buyers

A large mall within a short drive is one of the things tenants and end users look for. It tends to help homes nearby let more easily.

The communities closest to Skylight Mall are JVT and its neighbour Jumeirah Village Circle, two of Dubai's busiest areas for apartment sales.
