SAAS Properties launched The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Al Maryah Island at LIVEX 2026 in October 2026, in collaboration with Marriott International, which owns The Ritz-Carlton brand. The tower stands along the waterfront canal of Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi's financial district, and rises from a landscaped podium that holds the family amenities and resort-style spaces. The building is designed by Shaun Killa, founder and design director of Killa Design, and the interiors are by the British designer Tara Bernerd of Tara Bernerd & Partners; SAAS says this is her first project in the Middle East. The collection has 165 homes: one- to four-bedroom residences on a single level, duplexes, and one penthouse at the top of the tower. Residents have a gym and spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an executive golf lounge, a co-working lounge with a boardroom, a cinema, landscaped spaces and areas for families, with services run by The Ritz-Carlton. SAAS says construction has started and expects to hand over in the second quarter of 2030. Prices and the payment plan have not been published.
