Shahrukhz Residences stands on the waterfront of Dubai Maritime City, the peninsula between Port Rashid and the Jumeirah coast, with sea views all round the tower. Port Rashid Boat Station is two minutes away by car and Dubai Cruise Terminal 2 three, Dubai World Trade Centre and Jumeirah Beach eight, Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall ten and Dubai International Airport 15. A Metro station and a mall are planned for the district, alongside a sports park, beach, sunset promenade, sky walk bridge, cable car and mosque in the Maritime City masterplan.

Danube Properties is a Dubai developer registered with the Dubai Land Department as developer number 1009 since June 2014. It is the property arm of Danube Group, which began in 1993 as a building materials business. It builds mostly mid-market apartments and townhouses in Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai Maritime City, and is known for two things: selling on a 1 per cent monthly payment plan, and ending its project names in the letter z. Its first office tower, Shahrukhz, is rising on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Shahrukhz Residences takes the Shahrukhz name from Sheikh Zayed Road to the sea: one 60-floor tower of furnished homes on the Dubai Maritime City waterfront, ten minutes from Downtown Dubai. The studio from AED 1.7 million is the lowest-priced way in, the Flex layouts add a room for buyers who want flexibility, and the 30/70 plan keeps most of the price back until handover in December 2029.

Residents also have use of a dedicated yacht.
