Karim Benzema has bought several homes in Vision Iconic, the tallest tower at Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. The purchase includes a luxury residence. The price has not been disclosed.

01What he bought into

  • The tower: Vision Iconic is the anchor of the masterplan, with 66 residential floors and 1,404 homes.
  • The masterplan: twelve towers by Binghatti with Mercedes-Benz, launched in January 2026 on more than 10 million sq ft in Nad Al Sheba 1.
  • The developer: Binghatti, which builds branded towers with Mercedes-Benz, Bugatti and Jacob & Co.

Muhammad Binghatti, the developer's chairman, said the company set out to create a style of development that starts in Dubai and reaches a global audience.

02A second footballer

The same report names a second buyer. Medhi Amine, a former Morocco captain who played at the 2018 World Cup, has bought an apartment at Eywa Tree of Life by R.Evolution, and plans to move to Dubai permanently.

03The wider picture

Dubai sold 296 homes priced above USD 10 million in the first half of 2026, worth USD 5.1 billion together, according to Knight Frank.

04Why it matters for buyers

A famous buyer tells you a project has reach. It does not tell you whether a home there suits you.

What decides that is the same for every buyer: the price per sq ft against nearby towers, the payment plan, the handover date and the developer's delivery record. A celebrity owner also does not change service charges or rents.
