Arada, the Sharjah-based developer, has won planning approval for London Place, a AED 560 million apartment tower in Campsie, Sydney.
01The project in numbers
| Project | London Place, Campsie, Sydney |
| Value | AED 560 million |
| Homes | 156 apartments, including 18 affordable homes |
| Height | 33 storeys |
| Architect | Woods Bagot |
| Construction start | Q2 2027 |
| Completion | Q4 2029 |
02How it was approved
The New South Wales Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure granted the approval. The project had been classed as a State Significant Development.
Approval and the rezoning of the site took under four months, against a state benchmark of 275 days.
03What comes next in Australia
London Place is the first of five projects Arada plans in Sydney's Inner Southwest. The site is close to the planned Campsie Metro Station, which is expected to put central Sydney under 20 minutes away.
Arada entered Australia in 2024 and has built a pipeline of more than 6,000 homes there. Group chief executive Ahmed Alkhoshaibi said Campsie has significant potential.
04Arada at a glance
- Pipeline: AED 171 billion across more than 70,000 homes.
- Markets: the UAE, the UK, Australia and Syria.
05Why it matters for buyers
For a buyer in the UAE, an approval abroad says something about the developer, not about any one home. Arada is spreading its business across four countries, and a fast approval in a strict planning system is a mark of how its projects are prepared.
Nothing changes for buyers of Arada homes in the UAE. Prices, payment plans and handover dates are set project by project.
