Eagle Hills is an Abu Dhabi–based private real estate investment and development company founded by Mohamed Alabbar, who also founded Emaar. It builds large mixed-use destinations, most of them outside the UAE — Belgrade Waterfront in Serbia, Eagle Hills Amman in Jordan, La Bahia in Morocco — which makes it unusual among developers selling in the Emirates.
Its flagship UAE project is Ramhan Island in Abu Dhabi. That matters when judging counterparty risk here: the international track record is real but the domestic delivery record is short, and a buyer is underwriting a company whose comparable completions are mostly in other jurisdictions.
