Expo City Dubai is the entity that took over the Expo 2020 Dubai site after the world fair closed, and turned it into a permanent mixed-use city, free zone and residential developer. Its residential arm, Expo Living, is building across five districts — Expo Downtown, Expo Business, Expo Hills, Expo Valley and Expo Fields — with a stated eventual population of 35,000 residents.
It is a government-linked developer rather than a listed one, and it publishes differently from the private developers: dated press releases through the Dubai Media Office and its own media centre, detailed sustainability reporting and a decarbonisation roadmap, but noticeably less of the commercial detail — prices, payment plans, unit counts — that a buyer needs. The pattern on its project pages is a handover date and a register-your-interest form.
