Al Mairid is a mainland coastal district of Ras Al Khaimah on the Arabian Gulf, about eight kilometres from downtown Ras Al Khaimah and roughly twenty minutes from Al Marjan Island and the Wynn resort. It is where the Hajar mountains meet the sea, so residences here carry both open-water and mountain views. It is the site of Mira Coral Bay, a waterfront master community developed by Mira Developments in partnership with Marjan, the emirate's government-backed master developer, and home to Richmond Residences, a collection of 293 branded homes by British fashion designer John Richmond.
Al Mairid is a coastal district of Ras Al Khaimah on the mainland shore of the Arabian Gulf, about eight kilometres from downtown Ras Al Khaimah and roughly twenty minutes north of Al Marjan Island. Its defining feature is the one Ras Al Khaimah trades on more than any other: the Hajar mountains rise behind the coast, so the same plot looks out to open water in one direction and to a mountain horizon in the other.
Unlike Al Marjan, this is not reclaimed land. It is mainland waterfront, which matters for a buyer in a practical way: access is by road along the coast rather than across a single causeway, and the shoreline is natural rather than engineered.
Marjan, the government-backed master developer behind Al Marjan Island itself, is developing Mira Coral Bay here in partnership with Mira Developments. That is the address’s strongest credential: the same master developer that built the emirate’s best-known waterfront chose the mainland coast for its next branded community.
